Limited Edition Crochet Monster Hat – Herbie (Child size)

CAD $99.99

Born on the shady side of the moon, Herbie is a 14 year old intelligent, quiet and serious. Herbie loves anything to do with science. Messy science experiments – like lava volcanoes in his mom’s kitchen – are the best!

He does not love when his 3 younger brothers try to get in on the action and destroy his experiments.

Pedro Simon is Herbie’s moon rock from a recent school trip. He appreciates his strong, silent nature so he can experiment in peace.

Herbie’s father is an orthodontist and has tried to put braces on Herbie for ages. Herbie won’t hear of it though as he likes his gapped smile – he thinks it makes him more mysterious.

Our kits contain Koigu’s exquisite DK weight merino superwash wool. The wool is spun from the finest merino sheep in the world. Plied for durability, this lightweight wool is soft, silky, and retains the natural elasticity of merino.

In addition to being natural and biodegradable, merino wool is very soft, breathable, sleek, elegant and exceptionally stylish. In contrast to synthetics, merino reacts to changes in body temperature and helps you stay warm when the weather is cold, and cool when the weather is hot. It’s also exquisite to work with.

Koigu is an local Ontario, family-owned business whose yarn is painted, hanked, labeled and shipped by the Landra women and a small handful of local employees. While they use the efficiency of machines where they can, every skein sent out into the world is lovingly painted by hand and is a truly unique work of art.

The Ruthless Crafter is proud to partner with local, handmade businesses.
