Crochet Halloween Costumes
I used to make crochet Halloween costumes for my kids. The biggest effort was in 2011 when my children became a princess and medieval prince.

My parents just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in January. Being a creative type I thought it would be fitting to make them something in celebration. I looked up a lot of ideas but this particular item kept popping up and catching my eye. I used this as my inspiration and came up with this… It feels so good to give from the hand and heart. Happy anniversary Mom and Dad! I’m linking at these parties.
The kids have a few tee shirts that have had spills on them. This would be a great idea to give new life to those shirts. Thank you to Practically Functional for this tutorial.
I have always wanted to make my own snow globes. This may be the year thanks to High Heels and Training Wheels’s tutorial! We definitely have a huge supply of empty glass jars to use up also. Check out the supply list and tell me if you will join me in making (at least) one. Please share if you do!
I do not own a lot of buttons but I am drawn to buttons when they are used in embroidery or other art projects. Check out these adorable ideas from the Craftsy blog. Do you craft with buttons? I’d love to get some more ideas to try!
